Challenge
Poor visibility of inbound empty cars and raw materials. Holding cars for sampling was also leading to demurrage.
Solution
IntelliTrans created visibility of inbound shipments, particularly via the pipeline report that projects deliveries by date via dynamic ETAs. Implementation of alerts and alarms, supported by IntelliTrans back-office intervention services helped expedite all traffic and reduce railcar bunching. Robust corridor management ensured fluidity in all rail and truck corridors, and optimal modal selection for outbound shipments.
